Making A Purchase Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our store, and add any items that you wish to buy into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on 'Checkout' and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to complete the order.
We accept credit, debit and charge card payment via our secure banking service provided by market leaders PROTX, additionally you can choose to pay via Paypal.com or cheque / bank transfer (Funds will have to be fully cleared priod to order despatch). If you are shopping from outside of the UK, when you place your order your credit card company will convert the transaction to your own currency and we cannot guarantee any exchange rate.
If you do not wish to pay online, we can take card details via the telephone, over a fax or by email, although we do not recommend the latter for security reaons. Additional security verification will be made before the transaction can be completed.
When items are shown as in stock on our website, this means we have physical stock or one of our distribution centres shows that stock is available. In a limited number of instances, stock changes may not be reflected 100% accurately. In this instance, should your required item not be in stock when we receive your order for processing, we will do our utmost to source the item immediately without delay, but if we are unable to we will notify you and refund or hold any payment taken as preferred.
Important Note : When confirmation of order is received, this is to indicate that we have received your order. It does not indicate that a contract exists between us. We will indicate acceptance of your order, and hence a contract between us, when we send you an invoice. We have included this term to protect us in the case that a mistake has been made in pricing, we have inadvertently under-priced goods, or we are no longer able to supply a particular product for some reason. In the case of a change of price, we will always contact you first to ensure that the price is acceptable. |
Shipping And Handling We try to despatch all individual items the day that they are ordered, via a reputable secure next day courier service, such as UPS, City-Link or Parcelforce. For overseas customers, we can send items by Postal Service or couriers such as Federal Express, UPS or DHL.
Shipping costs start from £7.00. We are happy to provide custom quotations for shipping multiple items within the UK or overseas. If our website does not calculate shipping costs automatically for your order it is because we have marked one or more of your items as excess in weight or dimensions and this item may need to be shipped separately. In this instance, please contact us.
We also offer expedited services such as same day delivery for customers who need an item as soon as possible. We use local bike and van couriers who are competitive and reliable. For same day deliverys, it is necessary for you to call our sales team on 0203 239 8995 with the full delivery address and the list of items required. We will then get an up to date quotation for you for same day shipping.
Delivery on Saturdays subject to order being received by no later than 3pm Friday, subject to conditions and any additional charges incurred.
We do not charge any handling fees for customers who purchase items from us and use our carriers. If you wish to use your own carrier we may in exceptional circumstances have to make a small charge to cover any costs incurred (For example, if you wish to purchase a very large system that needs to be palletised).
3D System Sales Ltd endeavour to deliver all orders within a timely and responsible manner. If you have any complaints about the delivery service, please contact us within 24 hours of receiving your order.
When receiving an item from a courier or parcel delivery service, please inspect the goods in front of the driver or mark the delivery note as "Unchecked". Failure to do this may hinder any damaged goods claims. |
Delivery Schedule We endeavour to deliver your order as soon as possible. For single products, if your order is received before 4pm, we will normally send your order out same day if it is showing in stock, for delivery within 2-3 days (Unless next day courier has been specified). International orders are generally shipped within 2 days on a 2-3 day service.
If you require your item urgently or on a specific day, please contact us in advance of ordering to ensure you are not disappointed. Although we take all customers equally importantly, if requested we will try to meet any urgent requirements first.
For complete systems that may require configuration prior to sending, we require 48 hours to build, test and pack the system prior to shipping. In most cases if we have all components in stock we will never exceed this time, but in certain circumstances we may have to source a component in from a supplier, in which case we will notify you of the expected lead time of the complete system. |
Back Orders If your item is not in stock, we can back order it for you. You will always be emailed with the option to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. We have a number of suppliers who stock these items, so normally are able to fulfill any orders within 7 working days if not showing in stock today.
Additionally, for refurbished items, as well as the stock shown on this website, we have access to one of the worlds largest supply chains and can access a massive range of items. Please contact us for anything not shown from manufacturers such as Dell, HP, IBM, SUN, Tally, Motorola, SGI. We hope to integrate a larger search utility into this website shortly that will allow you to check availability directly. |
Tax Charges For orders delivered within the UK, VAT at the current rate is added. Within the EU, if you can supply a Company VAT registration number then we can deduct VAT from your invoice. All orders outside of the EU are VAT free. (Special Conditions may apply to Charity's within the UK - please contact us if you hold a VAT exemption certificate).

Credit Card Security For credit card payments, your transaction will be processed by our payment service provider, Protx. All payments are processed using encryption on their secure website. Paypal.com also use similar secure processing. We have never had any customer report a fraudulent transaction coming about as a result of using our website.

Used parts and systems generally carry a 90 day refund or replace warranty unless otherwise shown. Extended warranty's / on-site maintenance can be purchased at time of sale, please contact our sales team for full details, we offer delivery and installation on all items sold here.
Clearance items are sold with a 14 day warranty only to cover DOA's. Please check the manufacturer's warranty terms and conditions for any new item purchased, many require that you register your purchase with them for full warranty benefits. We do not register your purchases with the manufacturer, it is your responsibility.

Remittance Terms All orders on this website are charged at time of ordering. In the unlikely event we can not fulfill your order, we will advise you and refund payment within 24 working hours.
If you are an account holder, we operate a strict 28 day payment structure, where once you have applied for a credit account and have been given one we will allow you 28 days to pay your invoice from the invoice date. If invoices are not paid within this time, any guarantees / warranties will be cancelled and action will be taken to reclaim the item or obtain payment.
